Cheryl Eumont Grabert

She was the beloved wife of 50 years to the late Leon J. Grabert Jr. She is survived by her beloved children, Shannon G. Thompson (Travis) and Chad M. Grabert (Rachel), and grandchildren, Abigail Corte, Emma Grabert, Benjamin Grabert, and Jackson Grabert.

Cheryl was a devout Catholic and graduated from Annunciation High School in 1968. She was a talented cross-stitcher, a hobby that she did her entire life. The love of bowling started at a young age which led her to meet her soulmate, Lenny. She worked in the financial industry for years, until she retired at Sterne Agee. The proud moments she had were with her four blessings, her grandchildren, that kept her busy and showed her so much love. Cheryl was a proud patron of la Petit Café and enjoyed her breakfast club morning get togethers. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be held from 9 AM – 11 AM with a Mass to begin at 11 AM. Interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
