Our family will never forget Chris and his great restaurant "Bozos".   We always enjoyed those personal greetings, kind words and 'succulents' (my dad's word for those wonderful oysters)!   I can see my parents at the heaven's gate to welcome him home!

It was an honor and a privilege to have known and work for Mr Chris. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Mr. Chris was one of the nicest people I have ever known.  He was best man in my Dad's wedding and visa-versa.  When my dad was dying in the 80's , he sent food to the house for my Dad all the time. Whenever I went to Bozo's, he would show me how he fried individually and strained the grease.  He was a consummate chef. My Dad loved him, he loved my Dad and I loved him.

God, our Heavenly Father, has truly Blesed me with a special angel for 54 years as Chris 'Bozo' Vodanovich was sent to me to be my earthly father in the absense of my birth father who had passed on. My mother, Bernadine, was so blessed to have married a caring and loving man to take care of her and help her raise her two sons. His unexpected loss is such a blow, but with faith and love all will work out for good. Later on, as I travel back to Lexingon, Ky, where I currently reside, my thoughts will remain here in my roots, New Orleans. My dad, the 'Boz', will be surely missed by me, my mom, our family, and all who knew him. I know in my heart that he is now cooking in the heavenly kitchen where the oysters are perfectly fried, as they always were. I love you dad.

"Bozo" was a great host,master in his kitchen, loved by all his customers. He and Bernie created a legend. Such great memories
Over 50 yrs. He cannot be replaced.

He was a great man and will be missed. Had the true pleasure of working for him and he was always there with a smile on his face.

Glenn so sorry to hear about Chris passing away. Had a lot of good times and stories when Cut Rate was on N.Broad, After Hurrican Betsy on a Sat. we would go to Bozo's on a Sat. drink a beer and eat a dozen oysters on the half shell to relax before we all went home. Chris you will be sadly missed. THe other sad thing is Chris is frying oysters, Vera and Vitsey are waiting tables, and Mary Ann is collecting the money betting on the Saints for Sun. in heaven. Our sincere condolences to Bernadine and Chris's entire family. The Baio family has many fun memories of going to Bozo's throughout our lives.  Our Dad,(Raymond Baio) has been friends with Chris since they were both kids and knew his family well.  My brothers(Robert and Raymond) worked for him also for many years.  My sister, Susan and our entire family would like to express our sadness in the loss of Chris and tell his family he will always live on in our memories.  Thanks for all the Hershey Bars, Mr. Chris!

My condolences to you Glenn and family. I had the privilege of meeting Boze', enjoying his wonderful cooking and listening to the best horse stories. He was a plethera of knowledge and possessed true character. He will be missed dearly.God bless you all.

My condolences to the family.  I handled Mr. Chris' insurance and visited with him here in our office each time he came in to renew his coverage.  We will miss him at Eagan Insurance Agency.

I was conceived after a Christmas party at Bozo's on Broad, and named after it's namesake. Parents called me their "little pearl." Mr. Chris always remembered me and that story, he will be missed by all who knew him.
