Cloe Xochitl Huth Alferez Roesler, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, October 19. She was a New Orleanian from birth through death. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was also devoted to the Blessed Mother and centered much of the latter part of her life to this spiritual practice and to support of her family. She was born to Enrique Alférez and Rose Marie Huth. She was preceded in her death by her husband Robert Roesler. She is survived by her children Kim Spencer, Robert Roesler, and Toby Roesler; sister Tlaloc Alférez; grandchildren Ian Spencer, Hannah Usner, and Noah Roesler; great-grandchildren John, Dominic, and Luisa Usner.
On November 2 there will be a visitation (11:00am), funeral mass (noon) and burial (1:00pm) conducted at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home. Those interested in attending a repast shortly after the burial should contact the family or email [email protected] for more information.
The family asks that Mass intentions be made in her name and in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Second Harvest Food Bank.
