Danetta Seo

Danetta Rogerie Seo, 76, was born in New Orleans, LA on October 5, 1940 and went to be with Jesus on June 25, 2017. Danetta is survived by her four children, Richard Seo (Kerin), Victoria Platt (Greg), Michael Seo, and Lani Evans (Darrell). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; Richard Seo, Erin Seo, Caitlin Seo, Nicole Seo, Amanda Rhoads (Steve), Ryan Platt (Amanda), Madison Platt, Megan Seo, Lindsey Day (Thaddeus), Ashton Evans and by four great grandchildren; Sadie Rhoads, Doss Platt, Andie Platt and Gavin Day. Survivors also include her brother Paul Rogerie (Lodell), sister and goddaughter Christel O'Quin, and her beloved godson Joshua O'Quin. She was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Helen Rogerie. Danetta was a lifelong member of the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church and supporter of Lutheran High School, Metairie, LA. Danetta spent 40 years of her life working for the Marine Corps. She loved the Marines almost as much as she loved the New Orleans Saints. Memorial donations may be made to The Village Lutheran Church, 29180 US-190, Lacombe, LA 70445. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
