Danny is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years Debra Gauthier Gill; his son Danny L. Gill Jr.; his granddaughter Kaylee Lynn Hesse and his mother-in-law Joyce Gauthier. His brothers Lonnie Gill Sr.; Jerry Gill and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his daughter Deidre Lynn Gill; his brother Ronnie Gill; father-in-law Nelson Gauthier and his parents Millie Griffis Mendoza and father Willie Ray Gill.
Danny is a former employee of Penske Truck Leasing. He was also an avid deer hunter and loved LSU and the SAINTS.
Danny will be remembered for his loving heart and very kind nature, always willing to help people out in their time of need.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 11:00AM. Visitation will begin at 10:30 until service time.
