Daniel Joseph Jagneaux was born on October 12, 1963 and passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at the age of 61 years old. He is survived by his sisters, Rose Jagneaux Smith and Gloria Jagneaux. He was an uncle to Kyla Jagneaux , Ashley, and Eric Jagneaux, Nicholas and Amber Smith, Dawn Smith Oramous and Rick Oramous, and Zannie Jagneaux. He was a great-uncle and great-great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Rogers and Mary Jagneaux and brothers, Ray Jagneaux, David Jagneaux, and Will Smith.
Danny was a loving brother and uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. He was a great storyteller and made us laugh a lot. Danny had a generous and servant heart. He always helped his two sisters when in need. He was known as Cajunboy Danny.
The services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home. The visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
