She was a devoted mother to Kevin Cahall.
Dawn enjoyed cooking for her family and reading novels. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Dawn is preceded in death by her father Wallace F. Wiegand, Sr., Her mother-in-law Shirley T. Cahall and grandparents.
She is survived by her husband Michael Y. Cahall, her son Kevin M. Cahall, her mother Elizabeth W. Mahoney (Mike), brothers Wallace F. “Rick” Wiegand, Jr. (Rhonda) and Scott M. Wiegand, Step mother Kathleen M. Wiegand and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service to be held in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 11am with a visitation beginning at 9:30am. The interment will take place at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum following the service.
