Denise Ann Patrick Forcha

Denise P. Forcha passed away after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 60, on November 19 2025, peacefully surrounded by all of her loved ones. She was born on March 30, 1965, in New Orleans, LA. Denise graduated from O. Perry Walker High School, Class of 1983. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Forcha and her son, Joshua Forcha (Brittany). She is preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia M Patrick; her father, Douglas Patrick; her sister, Lisa Patrick; and her brother, Larry Patrick. Denise was a waitress for over 30 years, a job which she loved her whole life. She had such an energetic and positive personality that could light up a room. She was also an incredible athlete in multiple sports she played volleyball, cabbage ball, and softball. She loved going to estate sales with her friends on the weekends, and she was also apart of Lafreniere Volunteers where she fed and took care of the cats in Lafreniere Park. She was an animal lover and loved her 2 babies at home, Bullseye and Ashley. She was a loving, dedicated mother and wife, acquaintance, and friend. She will truly be missed by all of her friends and family.

A service of remembrance will be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home & Cemeteries, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, on December 2nd. Visitation will begin at 9am followed by the memorial service at 11am.
