Dennis “Dr. Sax” Bradbury, 72, passed away Friday, July 27th, 2018. He was born June 7th, 1946 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Victor and Louise Aucoin Bradbury. Dennis served his country as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps in Vietnam. After the war, he earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Southwest Louisiana in Lafayette. His first love was music and, possessing a gift for mechanics, founded Dr. Sax Famous Horn Repair. At his shop in Bridge City, Dennis fixed the instruments of many world-renowned artists. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Eileen Bradbury. He is survived by son Philip “P.T.” Bradbury, daughter Lea Aymor, and brother and sister-in-law Dwight and Britta Bradbury.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 12 PM. Visitation will begin at 10 AM. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
