Dennis "Denny" Earl DeBruler Sr.

Dennis was a dedicated husband to his wife, Deborah Dumestre DeBruler, and a loving father to his children, Cynthia D. Rooney (Christopher) and Dennis E. DeBruler, Jr. (Sandra). He was also a cherished grandfather to Amanda Frischhertz Tassin (Timothy), Scott Frischhertz, Jr. (Sarah Broussard), Cody Frischhertz (Quinlyn Schultz), Easton Rooney, Kaitlyn Rooney, Joshua DeBruler, Eric Ulm (Ashley), Nicholas DeBruler (Erica), and Veronica Pearl (Alex) and great-grandfather of, Mila, Lucca, Palmer, Carson, Kaden, Sage, Landon, Hudson, Haydon, Emery, and Oliver.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, William O. DeBruler, Sr. and Alice Heller DeBruler; brothers, William O. DeBruler, Jr., and Chris DeBruler; and sisters, Sylvia DeBruler Parker and Cynthia Marie DeBruler.

Throughout his career, Dennis worked for Delta Airlines and was known for his strong work ethic and ability to fix anything as a mechanic. In his retirement, he worked as the "shop boy" for Studio 18.

In his personal life, Dennis enjoyed bowling, fishing, and hosting seafood boils, relishing moments when his entire family was together. His every weekend trips to the coast with the love of his life were among his favorite pastimes. He was always there for his family, demonstrating his unwavering support and love.

Dennis Earl DeBruler Sr. will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will be forever cherished by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home & Cemeteries, located at 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, Louisiana, 70124, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A memorial mass will follow at 2:00 pm. A private interment will be held at a later date.
