Don “Big D” Stansbury passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of 41 years to Pat Talbot Stansbury. Father of Ryan and Eric Stansbury. Father-in-law of Shannon and Heather Stansbury. Son of Eloise Johnston Hynes. Stepson of Bob Hynes. Brother of Wendy Tucker. Grandfather of Mason, Cannon & Taylor Morise, and Callie & Rowan Stansbury. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Don was a member of Delta Sigma Phi Business Fraternity. He was an active alumnus of University of New Orleans. Don was an IT Support Manager for Leidos (Entergy). Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation and Memorial Service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Saturday, May 17, 2014. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service in the chapel at 1:00 PM. Inurnment will be private.
