Doris Scott Bordelon, age 85 , of Metairie, LA passed away March 14, 2015. She was born in New Orleans in 1929. She was married to the late Emeric Joseph Bordelon on February 14, 1953. Ms. Bordelon worked as a bookkeeper for LA Gas Service Company. She had a passion for her faith and family. She is preceded in death by her Daughter, Joel B. Berg, grandson Wally Pontiff Jr. and Brother Elroy F. Scott. She is survived by one daughter Theresa "Terry" B. (Wally) Pontiff, grandchildren; Melisse B. Marasco, Haley Pontiff, Kim B. (Matt) Friesl, Nicholas (Julie) Pontiff, Great-Grandchildren Kayley, Aiden, and Ben, and a son in law, Robert L. Berg. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 19, 2015 from 11 am-12 noon with funeral Mass to begin at 12 noon at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Lake Lawn Park.
