

After graduating from Warren Easton High School, he served in WW2 as a member of the United States Navy. He saw duty in the Pacific Theater aboard the USS Warrick, earning a 1-star Philippine Liberation Ribbon and a 2-star Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon and rising to the rank of Radioman Second Class. After his honorable discharge in 1946, he entered the workforce in the sales and banking industry. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Angela Merici Catholic Church. In his free time, he was an avid music lover and collector.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Barbara Ledbetter Parramore; sons, Edward Parramore and David Parramore; stepchildren, Cherie M. Smith, Yvette D’Argonne, and Greg D’Argonne; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Lora Gray and her wonderful staff including Erika, Brenda, and Malaysia.
In accordance with his wishes, he was laid to rest privately in All Saints Mausoleum.
