Eileen Walsh Donovan passed away at the age of 70 on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Metairie Healthcare Center. She was born on August 9, 1951 in New Orleans and was the beloved daughter of the late John James Walsh and Iris Fernandez Walsh.
Loving sister of Kevin Francis Walsh and Noreen Walsh Siragusa (Reano Siragusa). Adoring aunt of Brian Kevin Walsh. Also survived by numerous loving relatives and friends.
Eileen was a graduate of St. Mary’s Dominican High School and the University of New Orleans. She was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority, where she served as Corresponding Secretary. She retired from Ochsner Health System.
Eileen was extremely courageous with her long battle against cancer.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. until service time.
