Ettie Lou was born in Amite, Louisiana to Clarence and Troy Jones Johnson. She was an avid golfer, and was a longtime member at Colonial Country Club. She worked for Pan American Airlines, and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney F. Rogers, Sr., and two brothers, Clarence, Jr. and Raymond Johnson. Beloved mother of Sidney “Kim” F. Rogers, Jr. (Carole), Darrell Rogers, and Randall Rogers. Grandmother of Lisa Rogers Robinson (Ronald), Kenneth J. Rogers, Sr. (Marla), Ryan J. Rogers (Emile), Jessica Rogers Mestayer, and Kelly Rogers Parent. Great grandmother of Kimberlee, Nicholas, Sarah, Kenny, Jr., Jordan, Samuel, Payton, and Ike.
