Frank was born in Havana, Cuba on December 31, 1940. At the age of 16 Frank came to America, where he lived with family in Tampa, Florida and graduated from High School. Following graduation, he enlisted into the United States Navy and served four years on the USS Saratoga. After being honorably discharged, he obtained his pilot's license. He decided to make his way to California to become a pilot. One of Frank's good friend's, Richard, told him to visit him in New Orleans during his trip. Upon arriving in New Orleans, he said it "reminded him of home". While in New Orleans, he went to Deutsches Haus during Oktoberfest, where he met a "Parish" girl, Charlene Ehrhard. The rest is history.....
Frank loved vacationing in the Smoky Mountains and the beach. He loved watching all sports, specifically LSU Baseball and the Minnesota Vikings. He was athletic and physically fit. He enjoyed weight-lifting, playing softball, handball, volleyball and swimming. He loved science fiction, classical music, Elvis Presley and he was an extremely deep thinker. His favorite saying was, "Who is the thinker of the thought?".
Most of all, Frank loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
The family would like give special thanks to Polly, Charleyne, Melissa, Kristina, Tanya, Jacob, and Destinie and staff at Sunrise Senior Living for their exceptional care of Frank.
