

Florentine ("Sister", "Ronnie", "Bones") Nora Reinhardt passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. She was 96 years, 3 months and 17 days old. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Christian William Reinhardt and Irma Rebecca Hadley Reinhardt, three brothers, William Robert Reinhardt, Harold Paul Reinhardt, Sr., Leo George Reinhardt and a sister, Katherine Reinhardt Zehner. She is survived by a sister, Vera Reinhardt Wells and a brother, Walter Joseph Reinhardt and numerous nieces and nephews. She was employed by Genuine Parts Company for 39 1/2 years and retired as Branch Manager of the Kenner, LA store. She was a lifelong resident of Metairie, LA. She was "Sister" in the family, "Ronnie" in her professional life and "Bones" in her athletic life, a nick name bestowed on her by an announcer at a Camden, AR softball tournament when she hit a triple and as she rounded the bases the announcer said "Look at those bones run". It stuck. Visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home will be Monday, January 9th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday, January 10th from 9:00 AM to 11:00AM followed by a service in the funeral home conducted by the Reverend Paul Pic. Pall bearers will be Harold Paul Reinhardt, Jr., Elwood Wells, Jr., Glen David Reinhardt, Michael Christian Rodriguez, Geoff David Wells, and Christian Peter Reinhardt. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Keith David Wells and Silvia G. Wells. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributing to your favorite charity.
