Gaetana LoDico D’Amico died February 9, 2016 in Tucson, AZ, where she resided for the past ten years. She is survived by her daughter, Rosalia, son-in-law, Richard Joseph Wright and two grandchildren, Margaret Gaetana and Richard Calogero. She was born in Alia, (P. Palermo), Italy. She lived in Gentilly, New Orleans, LA for over 40 years before retiring to Tucson, AZ, where she has taken up travel and delighted in spending time with her family after the death of her husband, Calogero.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
