Gary A. Caffarel

Gary A. Caffarel, age 76, of Metairie, Louisiana passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 26, 1946, Gary proudly served his country in the Navy and adored reading books and watching movies about WWII. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Jane Fastring Caffarel; daughter Andrea Caffarel Lott; brother Mark Daniel Caffarel (Donna); and granddaughter Katherine Elizabeth Lott. He was preceded in death by parents Andrew H. Caffarel and Joan D. Caffarel. The family would like to give special thanks to Notre Dame Hospice and welcomes donations in Gary’s name made thereto and/or to St. Joseph Abbey.
