Huey Joseph Armand passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the age of 90. He was born in Cottonport, LA to the late Leonard and Mary Armand. Huey was a member of St. Edward the Confessor Church. He worked for AT&T in Management until he retired. Huey loved gardening and helping others, but mostly spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Virginia Gallodoro Armand; his parents, Leonard and Mary Armand; sisters, Geneva, Mary Dean and Zephyr.
Huey is survived by his loving children, Cindy Bergeron (Jerry), Cathy Baker (Derek) and Joann Morise (Mark); his adoring grandchildren, Bryan (Janelle), Christy, Kevin (Jennifer), Ashley (the late Scott), Amy (David) and Cody; great-grandchildren, Angel, Scott Jr., Caden, Marissa, Nivek, Lane, Kobain, Brady, Beckham and Cam.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Catholic Funeral Service held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 11:00AM. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM until the service begins.
