

Ina Saucier LeBlanc Bruder passed away on March 11, 2016 at age 90. She died peacefully at her residence in Lafayette, LA. She was born April 9, 1925 Saucier MS where she also Graduated high school. She graduated Nursing school as a LPN and worked at Methodist Hospital in New Orleans East. She was an active member of St. Maria Goretti Sociables Club. Hobbies included crocheting, scrabble, riding bikes, traveling, writing and spending time learning her computer and spending hours and hours on Facebook. She practiced her devout Catholic faith insisting on prayer as a priority in life. She loved spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by Mother and Father, Lillian and Leonard Saucier, her sisters, Inez Greene, Annie Mae (Idel) Hohenbrink, brother JL Saucier, Husband Percy LeBlanc and Otto Bruder, and daughter Judy Galloway Valadie. She is survived by daughters Martha LeBlanc, Carmen David Valadie (Sidney), Nancy LeBlanc Fawcett, Step-sons, John Bruder and Bruce Bruder, step-daughter, Mary BruderSisters Verda Crabtree, Leoila Peterson West, Brother Floyd Saucier 12 Grandchildren Daniel Valadie, Matthew Valadie, Stacy Gregoire Decossas Claire Gregoire Roberts, Michelle David Marone, Yvette David Cassidy, Natalie Sonnier Chutz, Gabrielle Hildestad, Jacob Landry, William Fawcett Julia Fawcett, and Jacqueline Jefferson and 15 great grand children. Thank you to Her constant and loving caregiver of 8 months, Annette Pierson, John Williams and the staff of Quality of Life Services, and Agnes Kilcrist and her staff. Visitation will be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Tuesday March 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Catholic Mass following at Noon.
