There were business meetings, social events and holiday gatherings. Isabelle had many friends that would travel to conferences for their organizations. She loved helping the community she lived in. She was a commissioner in charge for many years during the election voting in her district for Jefferson Parish. The parade season was one of her favorite times of the year! Isabelle loved to ride with the Jesters. Not only did she ride, but loved being part of the crowds. Billy and Isabelle had a passion for helping Children’s Hospitals throughout the South including The Jerusalem Temple Shriners Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Hospital. They would help transport patients and help with circus benefits every year. And, she had a gift from God for cooking! Large banquets were set up every year for many holidays. She would invite friends who had no family, friends that brought their significant other and of course family! Her family was her life. The latest joy in her life were her great-granddaughters.
