Jane McCune Kuehne

Jane Shirley McCune Kuehne was called Home on December 8, 2014 at age 91. Born in Ottumwa, Iowa, she resided in New Orleans for over 60 years. Preceded in death by parents Vern Edmund McCune and Natalie Patterson Harrington McCune; siblings John, James Patterson, and Richard McCune, Mary Kuhn, Connie Lopez, and Judith DeCastro. Survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Norbert E. Kuehne; children Michael Kuehne (Betty), Natalie Kay Scalise (Joseph), Mary Colleen Terrell (Robert), and Gregory Kuehne (Cindy); loving Grandmother “Nana” of Mark, Brian, Heather, Adam, Jennifer, Matthew, Natalie, Blake, Justin, and Zachary; great grandchildren Jacob, Madelyn, Sophia, Madison, Logan, Sawyer, Riley, Jude, Noah, Caleb, Charlie, EllaClaire, Michael, Austin, and Aubree. Jane was a Private Secretary with Procter & Gamble for 37 years. Jane’s biggest joy in life was her family and friends and she will be dearly missed by all.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm until service time. Interment will take place following the service at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
