Jean Betz Mascaro

Jean is survived by her four loving children, Jillian Betz, Kelli Mascaro (Allison Knipper "daughter of Jean's heart"), Paige Gerdes (Gene), and David Mascaro; her nephew, Donald Meunier; her ten grandchildren, Katherine Bordelon (Christian), Shane Gerdes (Lacey), Justen Mascaro (Alexis Walker), Courtney Gerdes (Micah Evans), Christopher Mascaro, Cameron Mascaro, Emily Mascaro, Olivia Touchet, Owen Touchet, and Jace Meunier; and her four great grandchildren, Jackson Bordelon, Dylan Bordelon, Lily Gerdes, and Mia Gerdes. She is also survived by a host of cousins and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ruby Betz, and her sister, Joan Betz Meunier (Marcel, Jr.).

Jean was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on May 11, 1944, and was a graduate of East Jefferson High School (class of 1962). She was a program administrator with Stewart Enterprises; a proud career that spanned over 40 years. Jean was a loving mother and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

A private service will be held for the family.
