Jeanne Saucier Johnston passed away on January 5, 2025 after a sudden decline in her health. Jeanne passed away peacefully with her family lovingly by her side. Jeanne was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 20, 1944 to father Victor Saucier and mother Catherine Saucier. Jeanne married the love of her life, Edward “Eddie” James Johnston Jr. in 1966. Together they raised two children: Eddie III and Scott.
Jeanne was known as “Mere” to her 3 grandchildren: Scott, Katie, and Jack. She looked forward to spending as much time with them as possible and made sure that she never missed a Grandparent’s day at school.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Victor Saucier and Catherine Saucier; her husband Edward J. Johnston Jr. She is survived by her sons, Edward James Johnston III and Scott Victor Johnston (Michelle); her grandchildren Scott Victor Johnston II, Katie Marie Johnston, and Jack Edward Johnston. A special thanks to her dearest friends, Jean Hannon and Karen Palmisano who never left her side through her most difficult times.
A celebration of Jeanne’s life will be held at a later date.
