Jeanne Emilie Escousse Zeringue, on Thursday, November 17, 2016, age 80, surrounded by her husband and children. Jeanne was the much beloved wife of Wayne George Zeringue, her childhood sweetheart. She was the daughter of the late Bernadette Murphy Escousse and Charles Alfred Escousse, and the sister of Charles Alfred Escousse, Jr. (Joan) and the late Adrienne Escousse Clark. Beloved mother of Jeanne-Marie Zeringue Barham (Rusty), Cheri Zeringue Mahoney (Jim), Wayne G. Zeringue, Jr. (Susie), Amy Zeringue Bogusz (John), and Gary Francis Zeringue. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Caroline and Henry Barham, Michael, Peter (Claire), Barrett and Bernadette Mahoney, Wayne “Jack” III and Claire Zeringue; John Michael, Emilie and Harry Bogusz; Gary, Jr., George and Gabriel Zeringue.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church, 444 Metairie Road on Tuesday, November 22 at 12:00 noon. Visitation in church from 10:00 a.m. until Mass time. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Masses preferred.
