Joan Gambino Milano

Joan Gambino Milano passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the age of 84. She has now rejoined her late husband Charles Joseph Milano in their heavenly home. She is the loving and devoted mother of Kenneth Milano, Kerry (Diane) Milano, Keith (Stephanie) Milano, Kevin (Elizabeth) Milano, Kathy (Terry) Mayfield, Kristi (Dale) Lambert, and Marc (Michele) Milano. Caring grandmother of Kyle, Kristopher, Zachary, Kimberly, Kerry Jr., Nicolas, Kevin Jr., Blair, Katherine, Lauren and Taylor and 8 great grandchildren. Joan is preceded in death by her parents Michel and Dorothy Gambino.

Joan graduated with honors in 1984 from St. Mary's Dominican College and was a long time parishioner of Saint Angela Merici. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to express their gratitude to Ramona Batiste, the staff of Poydras Home and Fidelis Care Group, especially Sharon Antoine and Gwen Robertson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 12Noon. Visitation will begin at 10AM until service time. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum. In lieu of flower donations are preferred to Alzheimer’s Association.
