Mr. Weeks was truly an inspiration to many of the boys who came up through the Boy Scout ranks in Troop 107. His infectious smile and good nature will be truly missed.

I have known Mr. Weeks for 42 of my 52 years through Boy Scouting.  He was one of the people that was an inspiration to move me toward becoming an Eagle Scout.  I can remember all of the stories, songs and magic tricks he would tell and show us at campfires throughout the years.  Much of these remain with me today, some of which I have passed on to the Scouts and Eagles during my 20 years as Scoutmaster.  Mr. Weeks was an inspiration to all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

I was blessed to meet John through Toastmasters when I lived in New Orleans. I will always remember his graciousness and warmth. He helped me tremendously when I became Toastmasters President. His laughter and presence touched me deeply.
May God Bless John's family during this time of great loss. He will forever live in our hearts.

I had the privilege of meeting John through Toastmasters when I served as a district leader. He was always so gracious and encouraging and never went without a smile. He loved his family and he loved life and he will be sorely missed by all whose lives he touched. Rest in peace and may God's love strengthen and comfort his family at this time.

I was blessed to meet John in August of 2011 and had the pleasure to seeing him almost every Monday since. John always wore a bright smile, had kind words to say and kept a humorous story or joke in his back pocket. I will definitely miss seeing him, but I know that he has the angels laughing their wings off. RIP John.

We did not have many opportunities to be with Mr. Weeks, but heard many stories from his Grandson, Robert, of the outings they shared.  He will be missed by many friends and his loving family. We are sorry for your loss.  Sincerely, Clifford O. White, Sr. and family

Never met anybody else who was always in a good mood like Mr. Weeks.  We always looked forward to his camp fire stories and songs on the Scout camp outs.
