Joseph John Breaux

Joseph served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was awarded a Purple Heart, Korean Service Medal one star, and the United Nations Service Medal. Joseph was a certified biomedical equipment technician. Parishioner of St. Dominic Catholic Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #3729. Joseph was also a member of American Radio Relay League and National Rifle Association.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 40 years, Margaret G. Breaux; son Christopher A. Breaux; sister Mary Louise B. Scalise; and grandson Russell Phillip Breaux. He is preceded in death by his sisters Theresa B. Faciane and Mary Francis Breaux; brothers Luke E. Breaux. Fabian G. Breaux and Anthony J. Breaux.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 1:00pm. Visitation begins at 11:00am. Interment in All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery.
