Joseph Salvador Cangelosi passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at the age of 85 years. Husband of the late Myrna Edmiston Cangelosi. Father of Susan Dorsa (Jeffrey), Jo Ann Puccia, and Judith Cangelosi. Grandfather of Steven and Amanda Dorsa, Joey and Hailey Puccia, and Kirsten Sahuque. Great Grandfather of Aiden Bleker and Madden Reed. Son of the late Salvador and Lucretia Tritz Cangelosi. Brother of Elsie Gill and the late Hilda Gebbia and Julie Klotz. Mr. Cangelosi served in the U. S. Air Force and retired from New Orleans Public Service, Inc. He was a past Grand Knight and member of Knights of Columbus, Ludovicum Council 4663.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Saint Louis King of France Church, 1609 Carrollton Avenue on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at 1:00 P.M. Rosary and visitation begin at 11:00 A.M. Interment in Metairie Cemetery.
