Joseph Emile Mocklin, age 90, of Metairie , LA passed away on March 24, 2015 in Metairie, LA. He was born in New Orleans, LA to Joseph and Amelia Mocklin. He graduated from Delgado Community College with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He retired from Orleans Parish school board. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Carol Parham Mocklin, one daughter Claire (Jim) Gillen of Metairie, la, grandsons; David and Brian Mocklin. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Gerald "Jerry" Mocklin, one brother, Clarence Mocklin, and one sister, Rose Mary Liretta. A visitation will be held from 11 am- 1pm on Monday March, 30, 2015 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home with the Funeral Mass to begin at 1 pm. interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park cemetery.
