She was born on December 29, 1937 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Ms. Joyce was an active member of Olive Branch Ministries.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Daniel Rhodes, parents, Joseph and Maxine Edwards and brother Rodrick Edwards. She is survived by her daughters, Cheri and husband Ronnie Buras and Karan Fraychineaud; brothers, Joseph and wife Linda Edwards; grandchildren, Hailey, Abby, Molly and Rieley Buras and Danielle, Cherie and Misty Fraychineaud.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and great-grandmother.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124, on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 12:00pm. Visitation will begin at 9:00am.
Interment will immediately follow at St. Louis #3 Cemetery.
