Katherine Savarino Jameson

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas M. Savarino Sr. and Sarah Brai Savarino.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Thomas E. Jameson; daughter, Angela Jameson; grandson, Scott C. Bourg Jr.; brother, Thomas M. Savarino Jr. ( Diane); and cousins, Madeline Vicari, Lucille Clark, Linda Russo, Anthony Savarino ( Elaine ), Lucy Coltrane ( Ray ), Shari Vidrine ( Eddy ), Maria O’Keefe (Gary ), Chris Vicari, and Victor Taranto Jr.

Katherine was born in New Orleans on December 16, 1942. She was a graduate of Warren Easton High School. She also graduated from business school which led to her being able to enjoy a career in accounting as a bookkeeper. Katherine loved making reproduction porcelain dolls and going on trips to doll shows. She enjoyed going on vacations with her family. She loved to work in her yard tending to her various pots and gardens. Every Spring she would plant and cultivate numerous plants, flowers and vegetables. She would decorate the house for every holiday. She loved to watch the Hallmark Channel and all the wonderful movies they would have for Christmas and other occasions. She was an extraordinary cook. She loved to cook meals for her family and would always make enough to share with friends. She was also very good at baking and would always bake enough to share. Katherine will be missed by all the people whose lives she touched, both personally and professionally.
