

Lance is preceded in death by his parents, Rudell G. Jennings and Zoe Poirier Jennings, and grandparents. He is survived by the love of his life of 21 years, Dana Jesclard Jennings. He will be sadly missed by his sisters- and brothers-in-law, Robin and Joe Barbara, Susan and Kenneth Gilchrist, and Craig and Jackie Jesclard; nieces and nephews; three great nephews; and two great nieces. He will also be sadly missed by several cousins and many friends.
Lance was a lover of cars and was a mechanic by trade. He was always quick to lend a hand and give from the heart. If anyone knew Lance they knew him to be a selfless person who never met a stranger. Lance was also an avid Tulane and Saints fan and enjoyed a lifetime of music. He enjoyed spending time with his family and the company of his friends, whether it was watching a game, listening to music, or kicking back with a few beers. He was a lover of all his pets, including birds, cats, dogs, and guinea pigs over the years. He was a native of New Orleans and a resident of River Ridge, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Boulevard in New Orleans on Thursday, November 14, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Mass will follow at 12:00 noon, with Interment thereafter at Lake Lawn Park.
