Lawrence A. “Peck” Ferran, Jr., age 90, passed away on August 31, 2015. He is survived by his wife of over 67 years Lora Lee Courrege Ferran; son, Steven L. Ferran (Darlene) and daughter, Cindy Ferran Hughes (Mark); grandchildren, Adam Ferran, Ben, Max and Andy Hughes; sister, Audrey F. LaRose; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence A. Ferran, Sr. and Clothilde V. Ferran. Lawrence, a devoted husband, father and grandfather, was a World War II Veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart. He retired from Bell South after over 35 years, was a member of the VFW Post 6640 and a parishioner of St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until service time.
