After Lawrence graduated from De La Salle in 1969. He moved to New York City to Bartend. He left his bartending career behind and returned to New Orleans where he worked as a postman.
In the 2000’s Lawrence retired and spent his time making models, enjoying his front porch and watching Law and Order SVU.
Lawrence was predeceased by his brother Axel and his parents. He is survived by his sister, Catherine, his brother Richard, and his sons Nicholas and Jeremy.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Monday, April 18, 2022, at 12:00pm followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
