Leo Joseph Alridge, Sr. was born October 27, 1975, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the union of Lois Foley and the late Philip Alridge, Sr. He departed his earthly life for eternal rest with our Lord and Savior on December 5, 2020. He was 45 years old.
Leo accepted Christ at an early age at Spiritual Sunlight Baptist Church, where he served on the Pastor Aid Board. Leo was a graduate of Joseph S. Clark High School, class of 1995. He started working at the Hotel Monteleone after graduation. At the time of his passing, Leo was the maintenance supervisor. He loved his job and the guests that he met over the last 25 years, but the owners and employees became his family away from home.
Leo was always the peacekeeper and so supportive of his family. He enjoyed spending time grilling, riding bikes with his family on the lakefront, playing football with his son, and cheering on the Saints. Leo’s passion was music and he could often be found deejaying.
He always wanted the best for others. We will all miss his love and kindness.
Leo was preceded in death by his father Philip Alridge, Sr; his brother Philip Alridge, Jr.; his father-in-law Roosevelt McKnight, Sr.; and his mother-in-law Ella Mea Robinson.
