

Lillie Mae Dyer Green heard the Lord whisper in her ear and told her it was time to come and rest on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at the BLESSED age of 108. She received her Master in Clinical Reading in 1940 from Columbia University in New York and worked with numerous school districts here in the New Orleans area. Mama Boo was the first Black women to receive her Masters from Columbia University.
Daughter of the late Andrew Dyer and Mary Dyer. She is the sister of the late Minnie Lee Dyer and Robert Dyer. Wife of Robert S. Green II. Mother of the late Robert S. (Lumena) Green III. Beloved grandmother to Robert (Keisha) Green Sr. and Andrieu (Lakisha) Green. Great-Grandmother to Stephfen, Robert Jr., Jahmikeal, Mahogany, Drieu, Sanaa, Daisung, and Lilliana. Great-Aunt to Lester Dyer Jr., Cynthia Dyer-Jacobs, Donna Douglas-Dyer, and Leslynne Golden. She is also survived by a host of cousins, great-great great nephews and nieces, and numerous friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Remembrance service on Friday August 10, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Lake Lawn Park Cemetery and Mausoleum in New Orleans, LA.
