Linda Ann Morici

Linda Ann Morici passed away on July 21, 2024 in Mandeville, La. After a long and valiant battle against Lewy Body dementia she died two days shy of her 78th birthday. She was preceded in death by her parents Gasper Morici Sr. and Lorraine Pomes Morici.

Linda is survived by her brother, Gasper Morici Jr., (Sharon) her niece Lisa Morici, nephews Joseph Morici (Amy) and Jeffrey Morici (Ashley), great nephews Andrew Morici (Jami) and Holden Morici-Embers, and great niece Ella Morici.

Linda graduated from St. Joseph Academy in 1964 and attended Southeastern Louisiana University before moving on to a career as the Head Nurse at Farber Dermatology clinic for 42 years. She enjoyed many friendships with the nurses and staff over the years there.

She loved to travel and enjoyed many great times with longtime best friend Diane Villarubia. One of her favorite spots were the casinos!

Linda was loved by all who knew her including her 4-legged relatives! She was a loving and caring sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed every day!

The family would especially like to thank the staff at Heritage Manor of Mandeville for their care and compassion over the 5 years she was a resident there and where she will be fondly remembered as a “hoot” and “pistol”!

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary 3368 Esplanade Ave, New Orleans 70119. Visitation at 11:00am with mass to follow at 12:00 noon. Interment will be in St. Louis Cemetery No. 3.
