Louis Frank Franchina Sr.

Louis is survived by his wife of 45 years Margaret DeLatte Franchina. Devoted father of Louis Frank Franchina, Jr. (Geralin) and Jennifer Franchina Moreci (Ryan). Proud Paw Paw of Vivian and Isabella Franchina and Jake Moreci. Brother of Frank Franchina, Jr. Maryann Franchina Gex, and the late Joseph Franchina, Christine Franchina, Lena Franchina Sicard, Leon Franchina and Frances Franchina Baudot. Son of the late Frank Franchina, Sr. and Mary Scariano Franchina.

Louis is also survived by his sisters-in-law Mary and Wilma Franchina; Raenell DeLatte Hooge (Daniel); mother-in-law Frances DeLatte as well as many nieces and nephews.

Louis was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Metairie for the past 41 years. He retired from Sears after 35 years of service.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am until service time. Interment will follow in St. Louis No. 3.
