She was born in Paris, France on January, 11, 1931 to Bernard and Mala Nouchimovitz (nee Szajmann).
In the 1950’s, prior to immigrating to the United States, Lucette was a hair stylist in Paris at the world-renowned Elizabeth Arden Salon styling the hair of such notable stars as Elizabeth Taylor, Clark Gable, and Ava Gardner.
Upon arriving in America, Lucette settled in New Orleans, Louisiana and worked as a hair stylist at D.H. Holmes on Canal Street. It was during this time that she met and married Daniel A. Lucette was a loyal and devoted wife, a loving and nurturing mother, and a proud grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, riding her bicycle, and had a profound love of animals saving countless lost and frightened stray dogs and cats that were found in harm’s way and reuniting them with their families.
Lucette was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Michel, and her husband Daniel A. Marsalone to whom she was married 56 years before becoming widowed.
She is survived by her son, Daniel D. Marsalone, her grandchildren, Giancarlo and Sofia Marsalone, and her faithful canine companion Marcus.
