

Madison Elise Monnerjahn, affectionately known as Maddie, passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2024, in her hometown of Jefferson, Louisiana, at the tender age of 28. Born to Sheri Heine and Rodney Monnerjahn Jr. on July 13, 1995, in Metairie.
Madison is survived by her loving daughter Vivienne Elizabeth, parents Sheri Heine and Rodney Monnerjahn Jr. (Kathy), brother Rodney Monnerjahn III, step-sisters Brittany Bradley, Lauren and Brooke Pons, grandparents Rodney Monnerjahn Sr. and Rebecca LaRosa(Anthony), loving partner Christopher Pfalzgraf and a wide circle of extended family and friends who deeply mourn her passing. She was preceded by her grandparents, Gladys and Alois Heine, and grandmother Linda Monnerjahn.
Madison worked at Precision Garage Door Service and loved her job. Her passions included reading, playing games, singing, caring for animals and especially her daughter Vivienne. Madison’s bright smile, kind heart, and her innate ability to illuminate any room were her defining traits. A bright, kind-hearted individual who made a lasting impact on everyone she met. Her memory will be cherished forever by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She is an alumni of Archbishop Chapelle High School and St. Rita School in Harahan. She was deeply cherished by her family, friends and anyone who knew her.
A visitation to celebrate Madison’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024, from 10:30 am - 2:00 pm at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, located at 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA with a Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 pm. Following the service, Madison will be laid to rest at Metairie Cemetery.
In remembrance of Madison’s love for Vivienne, the family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Vivienne at Hancock Whitney National Bank.
