

Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Manny was the son of Manuel F. Blanco (Laurie) and Maria Teresa McLean (John). He enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, hunting and painting. Manny spent most of his career proudly working at the family business, Atlantis International.
Manny was most proud to be a father. He is survived by his four children; Manny, Jr., Sara, Christina, and Joseph, who were the greatest joys of his life. He spoke often of them with pride, love, and hope for their futures. He also leaves three grandchildren, Noah Blanco, Michael Torbert, III, and Mason Blanco, whom affectionately referred to him as Paw Paw Manny.
Manny was also a beloved brother to Maria Teresa Blanco DePascal (David), Elizabeth Blanco Egan (John), Mark F. Blanco, and James Medina.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Manuel Blanco (Meyita Blanco), Olga Alvarez Blanco, Maria del Carmen Bringuier Medina, and Jorge Medina, and his aunt, Cristina Medina. Manny leaves behind many aunts; Maria Carmen Medina Stoyanovich (Drago), Maria Isabel Medina, Maria Dolores Medina Whitfield (Mac), Maria Lourdes Medina Lawless (Bobby), and Consuelo Blanco. As well as Jill Arnoult, his former wife and friend. Many cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom he treasured.
Manny built a life rooted in faith, family, and care for those he loved and anyone in need. He will be remembered for his humor, unconditional love, generosity, selflessness, and family. His sense of humor, his big heart, and his unwavering presence will be missed by all who knew him.
A private service will be held by the family.
