

On Sunday, August 10th at 2:33pm, Marc Edward Belloni, 59, died peacefully with family members by his side. Marc was born December 15,1965 to Nathaniel Frank Belloni Jr. and Frances Loretta Tangman Belloni, in Metairie, Louisiana. He is survived by his mother, Frances Loretta Belloni, his brother Nathaniel Frank Belloni, III and wife Erin, and his sister Gina Belloni Huth and her husband Frank. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Nicholas Frank Belloni and wife Colette, Blaire Huth Richoux and husband Brandon, Jacob Joesph Belloni, Casey Louise Huth, Rachel Belloni Landry and husband Brock, and Meredith Lee Belloni Conti and husband Lucas as well as great-nieces and nephew, Mayla Belloni, Reo Belloni, Emma Richoux and Gemma Landry.
He is preceded in death by his father Nathaniel Frank Belloni, Jr. and both paternal and maternal grandparents.
Marc attended St. Angela Merci Elementary School, where he found his passion for acting and singing, portraying Alfred P. Doolittle in the play My Fair Lady, in 7th grade. He went on to attend Jesuit High school in 8th grade and graduated in 1983. In his time at Jesuit, he was a member of the Philelectic Society and was in many performances throughout his tenure there. He attended Loyola University where he earned an undergraduate degree in theater, and continued his education, earning a Law degree from Loyola Law School. He attained his law license and began practicing but never lost his passion for performing. You could catch Marc performing in many local venues throughout New Orleans either in bands like the Sidewalls and CL10 or as a solo act. He loved hosting open mic nights around town as well. He released three solo albums of original hits and has many YouTube videos of him performing. His passion for acting brought him back to Jesuit to teach acting and Civics for several years.
The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors at East Jefferson hospital for their loving care and support of Marc during his time there. A special thanks to all his faithful friends that supported him during his lifetime and illness.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be held from 10 AM – 12 PM with a memorial Mass to begin at 12 PM. A reception will follow from 1 PM - 3 PM in the Lake Lawn Event Center.
