Margaret Mary Martinez Muentes passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023, at the age of 97. She was born on February 19, 1926 in LaPlace, Louisiana. Beloved wife of the late Asterio Delgado Muentes. Daughter of the late Jesse and Antoinette Cureaux Martinez. Loving mother of Dolores, Natalia, Estella, Carlos, Carmen and Asterio. Sister of the late Deborah, Clairville (Clay), Jesse, and Andrew. Adoring grandmother of Andrea, Ryan, Patrick, Angie, Charlotte, Nicole, Brandon, Richie, Christina, Eric, Sophia, Sonya, and Sandra. Also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, La. on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. with the Funeral Mass beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
