Mary was a long-time resident of the Constance Street group home run by the Volunteers of America.
While living at Constance Street Mary attended Strive Inc. recycling Mardi Gras beads.
She is survived by two brothers, Karl “Rip” Fischer and wife Dianne of Lafayette, LA and Larry Jaubert and his wife Ellis of Bay St. Louis MS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl Fischer and Elizabeth Ricau Fischer.
Many thanks go to the staff at St. Luke’s and the hospice workers at St. Margaret’s for their kindness and compassion in Mary’s last days.
Following a private service Mary was interred with her mother at All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans.
