Michelle Anne Bourque

Michelle Anne Bourque, age 58, a native and resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, peacefully passed away on December 16, 2020, after a brief battle with cancer. Michelle was a loyal daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Michelle was a graduate of St. Mary’s Dominican High School and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University Health and Science Center in New Orleans. After several years working as a critical care nurse, Michelle returned to school and obtained her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and practiced law in New Orleans until the time of her death.

Michelle is survived by her parents, Charles C. Bourque, Sr. and Estelle Veron Weil; brother, Charles C. Bourque, Jr. (Julia) of Houma, Louisiana; and sister, Jeanne Marie Bourque of Lafayette, Louisiana.

Michelle is also survived by three nieces and one nephew, all of whom she adored, Remanjon Bourque, Alivia Ann Doolin, Charles C. Bourque, III and her very dear Isabella Ann Bourque.

A memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 29th, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 6666 Spanish Fort Blvd in New Orleans, Louisiana. Visitation will be at the church from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
