He was born on November 3, 1972 to Michael A. Palmisano Jr. and Marlene LeConte Palmisano (deceased) in El Paso TX. He was a long time resident of Kenner, LA.
Mickey Graduated from Brother Martin High School in 1990 and Southeastern Louisiana University in 1996. Mickey was a proud member of Kappa Delta Tau Fraternity.
After college, Mickey was a dedicated husband and father. He worked for Intersect ENT as a surgical sales representative. He was a member of Dawn Busters Kiwanis, and a board member and past president of Lantern Light Ministries. He was also a member of the St Clement of Rome Men’s Club.
Mickey had an infectious passion for life, was a master of the grill and smoker, and loved fishing, hunting, spending time with his family, and fighting for conservative values on social media.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years Heather Dussel Palmisano, and sons Brandon 19, Jacob 15, and Dylan 12, and his “like a daughter” Gabby Dupuy. He has also left behind his father Michael Palmisano, Jr. (and stepmother Pamela), brother Michael Palmisano III, (and wife Michelle), sister Maria Palmisano, father-in-law Melvin Dussel (and wife Susan), sister-in-law Holly Dussel Palermo (and husband Stuart), brother-in-law Jason Dussel (and wife Giselle), “like a brother” Steve Bertucci, nephew Tre’ Pierre, nieces Alexis and Abby Palermo, and nephew Alexander Dussel.
Services will be held Monday August 27th at St Clement of Rome Church, Metairie LA. Visitation 10:00 am and mass at noon
