I want to add a special thank you to a few people who were instrumental in making the last almost 8 years of his life as full and happy as they could be. First, his son Michael for assuming financial responsibility of the family home. It was very important to our dad that he remain there for the rest of his years. Without Michael, it would not have been possible. To Jadyn for lawn care. To Mikey for the never-ending honey-do list and upkeep. To Steve for getting his groceries every week. And especially to Margaret for taking him to church every week, to doctors appointments, for ensuring that he got to every holiday and family gathering and for picking him up just because he wanted to get out of the house. You made sure that he always felt prioritized, included, loved and never forgotten. You all honor him and truly embody the spirit of family and unity that he instilled in all of us. As he would say, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
