Milton Charles Borel passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016. He was 97 years old. Beloved husband for 57 years to the late Nona Stafford Borel. Loving father of Patricia Twickler (Raymond, Jr.), Mary Marsh (Bob), and Milton Charles Borel, Jr. (Roxanne). Grandfather of Angela Celentano (David), Michelle Bougere, Debbie Bougere, and Suzan Tramonte (Steve). Great grandfather of David Celentano, Jr., Brenna Lampiasi, and Kyle DiGiorgio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Borel, four brothers, and one sister.
Milton worked for Texaco as a pipe line inspector for 35 years. He was a member of Colonial Country Club for 33 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 1:00PM. A gathering will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:00AM. Interment will be private.
